Perfectly Located Beaver Creek Vacation Home

We arrived during a period of record breaking heat. Property management was contacted with response, "Air conditioning was not mentioned nor promised. There are box fans in each bedroom." There were no box fans, we had to go out that night and purchase a fan. Day 3 a fan was delivered and day 4 a second fan was delivered. This makes 2 fans provided and the one fan we purchased for a 3 bedroom condo. We bought grocery's the first evening of a 6 day stay. The next day we discovered all perishables were inedible because of refrigator. I contacted manager about this and other unit problems. We were planning on making some meals in the condo but eat out for all meals. received e-mail they would reimburse us $20.40 credit on my charge card for perishable loss. Pillows were stained with yellow spots. 3 towels and 1 washcloth. TV remote control where the volume control did not work (I am sure we disturbed other condo residents by being too loud). On day 5 we realized that the front door did not lock. I contacted the manager that the ice maker was malfunctioning...only making half a cup of ice twice a day. I later found an e-mail from the manager stating the unit did not have an ice maker. It did have an ice maker unit on the refrigerator. Hot water closet was packed with vacuum, cleaning supplies, etc which seems to me to be a fire hazard. Management did send out a repair man for the the toilet that would not flush and ran water continuously.

Fridge was broken and our food went bad

We loved staying at Randy's! It had plenty of room for our group of 6, is clean and well furnished, and is conveniently right across the street from the Bear Lot shuttle and close to everything in the Beaver village. We had a couple suggestions for stocking a few more kitchen basics, but we were still able to cook everything we wanted. Hosts were super communicative via messaging and the check in and out was easy. We would love to be back!
